Dear Resident,
I am seeking re-election as your Conservative candidate in the Hertfordshire County Council Elections on
Thursday 6th May 2021.
I have lived in the Borough for more than 40 years, this is my home and I am passionate about it. Like many of you I originally come from North London, in my case Stoke Newington (N16)
I was first elected to serve you on Hertfordshire County Council in a By-Election in 2012. Since first being elected, I have worked tirelessly on your behalf and campaigned relentlessly for issues that matter to you.
I fought against the Drug & Alcohol centre being sited in a residential area close to a school. In 2011 I organised a march to save the Urgent Care Centre in Cheshunt from closure, which we successfully campaigned to retain this important health hub for the community.
The last year has been a difficult one as the country battled against Covid 19, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone within our community who has worked in the NHS & front-line services, volunteers who have given their time to support the community and those who have kept all our essential services going during the crisis.
A big Thank You to all you unsung heroes for all you have done & are doing for our community.
I have met with many of you and formed valuable partnerships & friendships. This has ensured I am a more powerful advocate for the interests of Waltham Cross & Cheshunt residents, and consequently I have developed a firm reputation as someone who gets things done.
It has been a privilege to represent you.
I hope I can count on your Vote on Thursday 6th May 2021.
